Montevertine are one of Chianti's finest producers, and their most famous wine, Le Pergole Torte, is a modern day classic - a benchmark for the Sangiovese variety and the Chianti region. At around half the price of Pergole Torte, their Rosso offers a lot of the same interest and savoury complexity. One of the purest, most pleasuarable and perfectly poised examples of Sangiovese you are likely to get.
